       IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Discharging multiple rounds in close succession is considered as being “rapid fire”. In most cases, our members are very considerate of our neighbors and rapid fire is not an issue.

Based upon recent feedback from one of our club’s neighbors, it appears one or more of our members may have engaged in inappropriate rapid fire. Examples of inappropriate rapid fire include but are not limited to: Firing high capacity magazines from rifles and pistols for the mere pleasure of “playing” and hearing the noise. Situations may also exist where two or more members engage in this type of firing. The resulting sound has the capability of causing one of our neighbors to believe someone is firing a machine gun.

 Club members must be aware of their surroundings and observe the most stringent firearms safety procedures at all times. Inappropriate rapid fire is an unacceptable practice that will not be tolerated by your board of directors. Discharging firearms at times other than during the authorized range hours  is also an unaccepted practice that will not be tolerated.
 Each club member is asked to report violations of these ; as well as any and all other violations of club rules to me or any member of your board of directors. Reports may be made through our web site or by contacting me at 315-569-9850. Should a violation be observed,  please do not induce a confrontation. Merely attempt to identify the offending party and ask the individual to cease the observed conduct. Obtain a license plate number from the involved individual’s vehicle if possible. The board of directors will thoroughly investigate any allegations of misconduct and will take appropriate action when necessary.

You send me the $90.00 for the first year and you'll receive a gift certificate with their name on it.  Then the candidate will contact me via e-mail and we'll set up the interview and providing all that goes well as it usually does, they'll get their membership card!  If you're interested drop me a line and I'll answer any questions you might have.  

CLUB CLASSIFIEDS

Now that we're on the web, I can add, change and delete items without having to wait for a bi-monthly newsletter. Also now having your items and or services etc. being viewed by everyone instead of just club members, your odds of selling goes up!  So use this club service, stick to the guide lines and send in your ads!

                 NEEDS DONATIONS !!

Please bring canned goods or a monetary donation to the club house during all 3D archery shoots.  Costs are going up for everyone and that includes the food pantry.  Thank you for your support.

SPORTSMAN'S DAY

Sportsman's Day is fast approaching. Yes the summer is flying!!  Help is needed to make the day a success! We need members to gather new or like new items with outdoor, shooting ,hunting or fishing type themes donated for the coffee-can raffles. We need items for the flee market, again same type of items, except used items that may be around the house, factory ammo, reloading items etc.  We need bodies to help with clean up the day before and to work the day of, (activities,get- ready,etc.) Please contact me via thru the web-site if you're available. MEMBERSHIP CARDS

As a reminder..... PLEASE when using the rifle or pistol ranges put your membership card on the clip board! We have become lax and it is one of the club rules to display your membership card when shooting, new as well as long time members. If you don't see a card on the board, ask, they may not be a member.  This is a PRIVATE club. Thanks for you help.  FMRGC
